In the mid 90s during the trial of O.J. Simpson, Sheri got her start as a Producer for ABC NewsOne. She eventually transitioned into TV production and was part of the original crew at the critically-acclaimed Behind The Music. Sheri went on to produce many specials for MTV Networks with BTM2, Crazy Rich and All Access for VH1, True Life, Who Is?, and History of Sex for MTV, Most Shocking and Survivor A to Z for CMT, as well as MXG Beach Countdown for Fox Family and Where Music Meets Film for The Sundance Channel. In 2004, Sheri joined Mcfilmworks as the Head of Development and Executive Producer. Her talent for engaging show concepts and spot-on casting led MCfilmworks to the successful productions of Baldwin Hills and Harlem Heights for BET, along with a pilot for LOGO starring Rufus Wainwright and Paint Misbehavin’ for TLC. Sheri also manages comedienne B-Phlat and is in development on the several scripted projects for the company. |
